Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of embedauth.comand the EmbedAuth service (together, the "Service") operated by EmbedAuth("EmbedAuth", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

EmbedAuth provides embeddable authentication infrastructure — including sign-in, sign-up, OAuth, magic links, and token issuance — that you integrate into your own applications. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Use the Service to store or transmit malware or violate the rights of others.

4. Plans, billing & refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. 5. Your content & data

You retain ownership of the data you and your end users submit through the Service. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by EmbedAuth and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.

7. Availability & warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmbedAuth will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
